Dear Families, children and visitors,
We would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our school website and welcome you to our wonderful school. We believe our school is truly amazing and are rated as Good with an outstanding Early Years by Ofsted.
Bowesfield Primary School is located just outside of the town of Stockton. With our own extensive grounds and excellent facilities, we provide plenty of space for children to learn; reach their potential and archive to be the best they can be.
At Bowesfield, we encourage all children to Aspire, Dream and Achieve in all they do and this is supported by our dedicated and experienced staff team, who are passionate about making a difference to your child’s learning journey and future lives. We strive to ensure that every child enjoys coming to school and feels safe and is ready to learn. Pastoral support for all our children and the wider support system for our families is a crucial part of the provision and we ensure we get to know every child and their family, so we can support them all socially, emotionally and academically.
Our school firmly believes in making children’s learning relevant and we make great efforts to ensure that learning and teaching is linked to the world around us. We take the children out of school as much as possible so that the environment locally and further afield provides the inspiration for learning.
We encourage our children to be risk takers and have a “can do” attitude, so they can dream big and aspire to be anything they want to be. We ensure our learning opportunities are carefully personalised so that children receive the support and challenge they each need so they can be the best they can be.
We are driven by 6 core values, which we call the “Bowesfield B’s” that help guide our learning journeys and help our children to develop their characters, personalities and own values systems, so they can grow to be good citizens!
